For #DESHBHAKT of India, China and Pakistan alike without any Prejudice and Discrimination….
In many government offices April 14, Birth Date of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, is declared as public holiday in order to mark respect and homage to him as father of our constitution which is egalitarian in ethos. Being a office of public utility rarely we get public holidays. Just to enquire about whether 14th will be a Holiday or not I asked a clerk of my office who keep pre-information of holidays. He denied. It was not a matter, but what he said few seconds afterwards was something to take pity on him and his wisdom. He uttered ‘there is no holiday for ambedkar- fambedkar ’ to himself… Caste/Varna of the person as per Hindu Social order doesn’t need to be mentioned.
Apathy of the clerk for Dr. Ambedkar could well be understood by observing efforts made by Dr. Ambedkar in ensuring egalitarian Indian Social Structure by breaking domination of Brahmana’s System of Varna/Caste Social Hierarchy. He was the person who advocated for equal social status not only for Shudras in Hindu Varna System but also for women of India. He shattered Brahmana’s and Kshatriya domination by introducing reservation system in Indian Constitution itself. He tried to bring social justice to socially backward community who were subjugated and subjected to coercively serve community of upper varnas. He tried to provide them fundamental freedom in a free India with all dignity and rights.
Through Vedic, post Vedic, Ancient, Medieval and Modern ages Hindu Brahmana had made all effort to maintain their domination and acknowledge themselves as supreme in the social hierarchy. The method had been through discriminatory religious texts and literature specially Puranas, Manu-Smriti and other Dharma-Shastras. Breaking of Social Order of Varna system has been described by them as sin of highest order which will lead to advent of Kaliyuga; and whoever breaks such order will face severe consequences in Naraka. Even Bhagvad Gita has been used to ask Hindu follower to protect their Dharma by performing their duties as per their Varnas.
In history their source of livelihood has been fees/rent for performing religious rituals. To ensure their monopoly in performing ritual practices they had authorised Kshatriya Community as preserver of Social Order. They even didn’t hesitated in acknowledging a ruler as lineage or descent of god. This practice established legitimacy to the ruling dynasty and they were accepted as patron of the population. Vaishya were assigned productive role and as tax payers while Shudra were to serve other three as labourers. By the time of Gupta period there emerged a fifth category of community who were acknowledged as untouchable and were assigned menial works and were outcasted from the society. They had to live on outer fringes of the village and even their shadow was thought of as inauspicious.
For various state religious rituals and Vedic sacrifices Brahamana were given land grants and other rewards by the King/ruler. This made them land lords and later on freedom were given to them to rule over the rewarded territory and maintain law and order. They were free to punish as per their whims and fancies, brunt of which fell upon people who wanted to overcome this Brahmanical domination. Religion of Buddhism and Jainism emerged as rescue for them from this domination but intolerance policy and persecution of followers of these religions by Ruler of Shunga, Gauda and other Hindu dynasties failed their effort. These religion are now concentrated in few pockets of India and hardly population of their followers crosses mark of Crores. Though Buddhism had flourished well and adopted by people of Japan, South Korea, South East Asia, China, Central Asia but in India their population is negligible. All credit goes to intolerant attitude of Brahamanised Hinduism.
With respect to women, Manu-smriti, DharmaShastra etc regard women as property of men and women have to follow men as per men’s wish. Hindu religious laws had called that a perfect wife is the one who serve her husband as slave and on his death follow him to death through practice of Sati. Education, learning of Vedic Texts etc were clearly denied to women. Rather they were property in the hand of men and not a human. Even today dictates of religious texts are used to subjugate women in patriarchal society. It was effort of Dr. Ambedkar in promulgating Reformed Hindu Codes as nation wide legislation through Indian Parliament which enhanced position of women in India as equal to men in almost every social aspects.
These were menaces of Brahmanised Hindu Religion and society which Dr. Ambedkar tried to eradicate through our constitution. This caste system is something very peculiar to Hinduism and had harshly affected progress and development of the society as a whole.
Even in this secular India which is thriving on modern scientific temper all effort is being made all around to maintain this social order and distinctions and discriminations based on this order. This could well be observed if we minutely observe the current trend of nationalism which enforces Hinduism or rather say Brahmanised aspect of Hinduism which acknowledge their supremacy over society.
Theirs hegemony is of millennia, establishment of order of equality and equity will take its own course; effort must not be diminished.
Indians are stirred over the incident of JNU, and Kanhaiya Kumar has been made the central character behind the whole chaos. Social sites are filled with status updates, stories and comments in favour and against of Kanhaiya. It seems that with this incident Patriotism of every citizen of India is on the climax. I can’t, neither have right to, scrutinise patriotism or nationalist feelings of our fellow citizens but still have constitutional Right to freedom of speech and expression to have my words.
I am trying to define Nationalism in my own perception and it is bound to vary person to person.
In sociology ‘Nation’ means a territory or part of territory which is resided by people of distinct ethnicity and culture and they consists majority of the population of that territory. It may or may not coincide with ‘Country’s’ boundary. In this definition it will be perfect to define India as a ‘Federal of different Nations’. India is a habitat for more than 500 distinct tribes and
ethnics. Though flow of time and ages had made them similar in one way or other but they are different with their own history of origin and life evolution. Many tribes have known connection to tribes of different countries. E.g. Munda tribe of Jharkhand are known to be of Austro origin and their language are very much similar to tribes of Australia than to India. Similarly, residents of Ladakh and North-east are of Mongol origin. Races of people of North India and South India are clearly distinct. History of races/tribes/ethnics had been preserved by Languages and cultures of the people. The territory they occupy constitute a distinct nation. Protection, preservation and defence of ‘Nation’ by them may be Nationalism to them. Patriotism and Nationalism have almost same meaning in English Vocabulary. Nation and country are different. Here Country is similar to a rural settlements. Social Science call India a ‘State’ comprising of different nations.
In political science definition of a ‘Nation’ is – A territory bounded by definite international boundary, which can be modified by Parliament through adequate legislative process, and is a Union of states. Here a Nation is very much similar to a country. India is called a Nation/Country/federal of states.
In geography there is no term as Nation. Its talk about a Country with definite political international boundary.
Lets come back to the Kanhaiya Issue. As people’s sentiments are attached with this case, so its better to take sociological meaning of Nation which shall be logical as this subject is itself ‘science of society’. India being a federal or union of different ‘Nation’ and resident of that territorial nation have their own ‘Nationalism’ and Constitutional Right to protect and preserve them. Constitution by DIRECTIVE PRINCIPLES OF STATE POLICY had bounded State (Government) to do the needful to protect and preserve them. If nationalist feeling of someone arise and he/she dissent politically against the government or the state, it shall be accepted. Effort shall be made to find the cause of that dissent rather than to suppress their voice. More the voices and their concerns are suppressed more aloud and violent they will be. As they had already said- ‘ Kitne Afzal Maroge, Har ghar se Afzal Niklega’.
India is a peculiar state. Hardly the truth is being shown, or may be if it had been shown on some media channel its hard to believe it in this biased fourth pillar of democracy. I am not concerned what the truth is, but more concerned to what Nationalism shall mean. We have pre directed mind set, which always seeks to find and even get success in finding what we perceive as oneself. One such dimension of thought is ‘India is United’ and our all vision and senses are processed in that way only. Yes, India is united as union of states with definite territorial boundary but only in Chapter 1 of our constitution and which stands amendable, and that too by just simple majority. Even our constituent assembly of 1946 and Constitution of India Act, 1949 had given such scope. Exchange of conclaves between India and Bangladesh is an example.
In my opinion every such act are justified if it leads to peace and prosperity of the Humankind, no matter in which country or nation they reside. Sentiments of people from rest part of the country shall not undermine and dictate sentiments of the people from the concerned land. Since Independence the politics in India of gathering vote bank has ruined every sphere of life and kept alive many issues which may had been settled peacefully, though with territorial loss to India.
My thought and action are dictated for the peace, prosperity and welfare of the living beings of the world, still I think my nationalism and patriotism is only bounded by the Constitution of the Land I reside, I shall strive to follow the laws, rules and regulation of the territory. No institution other than Indian judiciary, in proper legal, way has right to judge my course of action and activity. People are free to dissent against me but no right to interfere in my freedom, rather register FIR and let court decide my faith.
The country is again mourning for lost life of martyrs in securing Pathankot airbase and Nation’s sovereignty. Again the ground used for conspiracy against the state was of Pakistan. Our very neighbour, and once upon a time our part. Unfortunately, that is now our worst enemy. But peace and stability is always best for society and region and this only thought had always urged India to have cordial and peaceful relation with Pakistan. Alas! clap needs both hand.
Accession of Kashmir in India and India’s role in seccession of Bangladesh aka East Pakistan has always kept pinging PaKistan’s Military and ISI to take revenge of it from India and they keep alive Kashmir issue and impinge India time to time. They ensure not to leave any stone unturned to destabilize India, from hook to crook. Terrorist militant are their new arms and they support them with armaments and training facilities. They provide them ground and other support to enter India and destabilize the nation. The worst part of it is that they do so in the name of Islam.
Before we think of control of terrorism in Pakistan, we need to understand that in Pakistan it is more of militro-democracy i.e. Democracy survives until military has it say. The day democracy tries to overlook military, democracy falls. And even in India what not our political leaders will do to save their seat!!! Human nature doesn’t change beyond borders.
With globalisation and cooperation beyond borders there is mounting pressure on Pakistan to keep check on terrorism and this had curbed open operation of ISI and Pak Army against India. They are now believing on Gurrila Warfare through islamist militant. And its worth to mention that these Gurrila warfare by Islamist militant was a brain child of USA against the then USSR during Afghan war. And its also a fact that America is one of the largest defence partner and social assistance of Pakistan, most of which leaks to these militants and purposely used against India.
Pakistan’s rising partner is China and religio-finance partner is Saudi Arabia. China’s rising activities in Pak and Afghanistan is to encircle India while that of Saudi Arabia’s is to counter Iran from backside. All of them supports terrorism to meet their needs and even categories them in Good terrorist and Bad terrorist.
Armed conflict is not a solution neither India can be on backfoot. India needs to raise this concern globally. We need to act aggressively like USA to propose sanction on Pakistan and no vested interest in such economic cooperation or agreement should come in its way. People’s life is More precious than business profit. I can’t understand why the world is proposing sanction on RUSSIA, Iran and North Korea when the known terrorism breeding ground is Pakistan. Its also unfortunate to find that India is also responding somewhat to such sanction. India shall not do so until and unless sanction is proposed even on Pakistan. All economic ties with Pakistan must be stalled till Pakistan take harsh action on terrorism evolving on its ground.
When China vetoed for Pakistan against India’s move for detaining Hafij Saeed, India should had acted harshly against China’s import which figures around US$60 Bn making trade Deficit to US$40 Bn. Similar strategic move is required against Saudi Arabia and even USA. This world is now a global market with global business players and India is emerging as one of the most favored market destination. India’s economy may come down but will not stay as such for long. But Pakistan’s morale for such activity will surely fade out.
Merely talks with Pakistan will not make a solution. India need to act aggressively in world economy against Pakistan. If you can’t break them, break their economic backbone to make them bow down to peace.
P.S. Blog was written much before Masood Ajhar, conspirator of Pathankot, was arrested by Pakistan. India’s aggressive move to stall talk with Pakistan until perpretors are caught is a welcome and much needed move. We need to go more further. Less than an economic Sanction against Pakistan other thing is not called upon.
I would acknowledge significant policies adopted By Mr. Nehru during his tenure in order to maintain independency of India as non-aligned country. US tried to establish its imperialism camp in India and make us ally of capitalist bloc. Save for non-aligned principle adopted by Mr. Nehru which not only kept India neutral but also made us to stand as third significant front as non aligned nation. Later India was recognized as strong power in world.
US always wanted to establish its base camp in Kashmir and had always supported Pakistan with arms as well as capital for organizing militant against India to grab Kashmir. We must also know that Osama Bin Laden and his org Al kaida as well as Taliban are brain child of America against USSR and more or less India.
US has always tried to destabilize India in one or other way; of which most significant one is its military support to Pakistan. With India emerging as strong power and nuclear empowered country, US had considered us a threat and had tried all the way to destabilize our sovereignty. Relation of India with disintegrated Soviet Unions was hampered just after its disintegration. It affected our economic as well as military capacity. Meanwhile US grabbed the opportunity to establish economic relation with India in the turmoil of economic instability. If we gather broad knowledge of other field we will find that it was combined strategic effort of World Bank and IMF to destroy economic system of India with providing easy loan for development sector in India. World Bank and IMF knew about corrupt practices which had engulfed Indian administration by that time. Only fraction of money was used in development sector and we were unable to payback loan. This made India obliged to follow economic policies directed by World bank and IMF. Flawed economic policy directed by them made us deficit in current account during 1991 and Dr. Manmohan Singh liberalized the economy making way for most of the US firms investing in India.
If we consider and look into whole scenario it can be observed that US succeeded in what they wanted – to control India. They failed to control politically and diplomatically but economically they succeeded. With India dependent on foreign investments and Dr. Singh further opening market for foreign investors we had lost our economic independence. With one single change in policy by US senator they are capable to direct all US investors to withdraw their money from India. In lieu of smooth economic system of India US can easily blackmail India for our sovereignty, integrity and security.
It was idea of Mr. Nehru to make India independent in all respect which was well relayed forward by Mrs. Gandhi and tried hard by her son Mr. Rajiv Gandhi. But their successors did mistake in handing over our market independency to foreign investors. They are still way forward even to allow foreign investment in strategic sectors.
I afraid how people call him doctorate of economic policies‼‼
Whenever I go to a public department to file an RTI most of the time I feel that I am the first person to seek some information from that department under RTI act 2005; or other case might be that the public personals intently pretends that I am the first person to submit RTI application. Whatever be the case submitting an RTI application is a fascinating process and I had always enjoyed it.
Factually speaking, just an RTI application rarely do harm to any of the public official, it’s just a tool to get information. They are always safe until that information is processed, analysed and further action is taken based on that information, probability of which is not more than 20%. But I always observe a pale color on their face whenever I ask him who will accept the RTI application. Their very jolly face, which was chirping with their colleagues till now, is strayed with trepidation of an RTI application. And here starts the typical ‘sarkari baaboo’ attitude of our Sarkari Baaboo. They pretend that they are still unknown to RTI act and don’t know who and how the application will be received. They make me to wander to different table. I also like to do so because it let me observe and enjoy different facial expression and apprehension of public personal. Alas! There are always two people who have to accept the application – one is ‘The Bada Baaboo’ and other one is the staff who receives posts at dispatch section. Bada Baaboo always finds it easy to pool off from the responsibility of accepting the application as he can order the staff to accept the application. The staff is also dismayed of the application but his reason is something else- he is feared of harsh word from his superiors to whom the application is intended for.
In recent one I went nostalgic. This time I was very adamant to make my application accepted to a department which was not directly concerned to the matter of application. The scorching sun and intolerable temperature made me to stick to my adamancy. Who the hell will walk a Kilometer to go to other department if matter is somewhat concerned with present one‼!
Don’t know why but none of the public official talks to RTI applicant familiarly and try to avoid them. I was also duped of his negligence and with this frustration I kept following him until he accepts my application. I got motivated by a quote of Swami Vivekananda hanged over there –‘Rise, Awake and Strive till your mission is accomplished’ and that’s was enough to boost me to keep him following and annoying him. My nostalgia met the zenith when he was going for pee and I beckoned him ‘where is he going without accepting my application, he is not bound to go anywhere before receiving my application’. When I was just about to say – ‘application lene mein darne wali kya baat hai jo aap office chhodker bhaag rahe ho‼!’ He annoyingly cried – ‘****** karne jaane bhi nahi doge kya‼!’
The fact that just an RTI application can’t prevent corruption until the information collected is processed further; in my opinion it’s not always true. Even filing an RTI can bring a sense of alarm to the public offices and public personal and this small apprehension will fetch a bit of transparency. I had observed this change in many departments and for this bit of change I always make the effort‼!
Tamil Nadu is facing a sort of upheaval concerning the condition of life of Tamil population in Sri Lanka. Mass of students, politicians, artists and Tamil Nadu’s citizens went for street protest in support of Tamils in North Sri Lanka and against the Sinahlese Government of Sri Lanka. The present situation in Sri Lanka is result of suppressing and prohibiting the culture, language, history, religion, and tradition of Tamils in Jaffna (region in North Sri Lanka) by Sri Lankan government over years and forcefully imposing to them culture, language, history, religion, and tradition of Sinhalese. This resulted in retaliation by extremists of LTTE in Tamil Eelam region of Sri Lanka. After downfall of LTTE Sri Lankan government is trying to cease the existence of Tamils from North Sri Lanka.
Tamil population of North Sri Lanka inhabits since 2nd BC and had developed almost similar culture, language, history, religion, and tradition through regular trade and economic activity in long history. Indian Tamils consider them their part and are sentimentally attached to them. This is similar to the position of attachment between Hindu of India and Pakistan, Mongoloid tribe of Nagaland and Myanmar, Muslims of Pakistan and Kashmir Valley. The political parties of Tamil Nadu are exploiting these sentiments for their vote banks. Their protest is demanding GOI to take immediate action against Sri Lanka while GOI is observing this issue only of Tamils to whom they consider citizens of Tamil Nadu and not citizens of India.
The first thought what come to a Nationalist is – “Why GOI be concerned about matter of another country and be critic to their sovereign activity. Sri Lanka is maintaining their sovereignty similar to what India is doing against extremists. If Tamils have problem in Sri Lanka they must return to India. Why should we interfere in their internal matter‼!”
Giving rational thought one can easily come to conclusions which are not only on Humanitarian ground but also economically significant to India.
Lets first give look to economic significance. If condition of Tamils in Sri Lanka further deters they will eventually refuge to Tamil Nadu (India). This will create a burden to already poor economic sustenance of Tamil Nadu. They will not settle at this only but will go for street protest against Sri Lankan government along with citizens of Tamil Nadu which will for sure become violent damaging life and property and halting the economy of state or even country. Till LTTE was operating in Sri Lankan Tamils were in their shelter but now they will for sure try to refuge to India.
It is also humanitarian and moral obligation of any democratic country to prevent human rights violation in its neighboring country if it is in their capacity. There exists a fear for sure of hampering external relation with Sri Lanka but some other country might be influenced and inspired by our obligation to protect human rights and they will ally with us. However improving trade relation with Sri Lanka and tackling the matter diplomatically will carve out a better solution without scratching the relation.
If Sri Lankan government had behaved democratically and had allowed liberty to Tamils to follow their own culture, language, history, religion, and tradition in a state where they can enjoy their autonomy (just like states in India) they all might be living in harmony. Late Indira Gandhi (Ex-PM, India) may also be held responsible for present scenario as she overlooked and allowed LTTE rebel training camp operation in India. If she have had diplomatic talk with Sri Lanka during her tenure the situation might had been different. She should have played her role in Sri Lanka’s case similar to her role in Bangladesh but in a softer way.
Now situation is at the worse end and GOI can’t be just a spectator and must actively tackle the issue.
v GOI must talk diplomatically with Gov of Sri Lanka suggesting them to allow Tamils liberty to their culture, language, history, religion, and tradition in their own autonomous state.
v If GOI wants to fears of relations and need to keep it smooth then they must intervene in the matter indirectly through United Nation.

A journey emphasizing evolution of new enterprises in India, a journey to support new employment opportunity in small scale industries, a journey to empower and integrate rural market and rural industries with the rest of the world, a journey creating a sustainable path of better India, a journey of pool of like minded people who commit to the development of nation.
Not only this, there is something more unique to this yatra!!!!
“A Journey of discovery and transformation…1 Train – 12 Destinations – 15 Role Models – 15 Days – 8000 kms – 450 Youths and I was one among 450.”
Dynamic people from all over the country on the entrepreneurship journey, all above the difference of region, religion, caste and creed; all are equal. Jagriti Yatra Train better denote is as a small replica of an ideal India. Love, harmony, care and friendship binding everyone as a complete family. The 450 youths divided in small group of 20 formed a lifetime bond, bond of relation of highest degree.
Youth from different part of country with different aspirations, diverse dream of developed society, efforting in their field of interest to bring a change, striving to make the nation developed. All of them believe other before self.
It was a yatra to show the opportunity in rural India which is always ignored by the so called successful corporate, a yatra to show graduation or post graduation degree are just paper certificates, a yatra to acknowledge you with your self potential, a yatra to show how common people like us brought uncommon changes.
The fifteen days of Yatra is something I wish to have in India. An India of love and compassion to all; an India of no bar of caste, religion, region and languages; an India of sustained development; an India where people are devoted to self less service. The yatra proved that my wish to have an Ideal India is not a far dream, it’s very much possible but there is need of a collective effort and leadership to achieve the dream. The yatra made us to realize that a bed of 1.5ft x 6ft is sufficient to sleep and a place of 6ft x 6ft is more than enough to spend life. The real happiness comes from making new relationship with unknown person, satisfaction comes not from gathering resources but by sharing limited resources, joy of life is in taking grief and sorrow of others.
I don’t know whether I will be able to live in India of my dream but those 15 days will be always in my heart and those co-yatris will be in the centre of the heart.
Above all, the following song will always motivate me, and will always show me a hope whenever I feel down. It will always ensure my commitment.
India, boasts a great history and unmatched diverse culture, geographically being seventh largest, 2nd largest demographically, and largest democratically country in the world, but still we are searching for our soul, spirit and moral values. The rich cultural heritage had been diluted in recent decades; the loss in moral values of Indian citizen is dragging us again towards dark ages though we dream to become super power. As per article 25 we have right to (i) profess religion; (ii) practice religion; and (iii) propagate religion thus making India a secular country. But the question is ARE WE TRUELLY A SECULAR COUNTRY? France states itself as secular, but there exists much difference in way of adopting secularism in India and France. In India we are free to adopt and perform any religion, can follow the customs of particular religion while in France the citizen is not allowed to adopt or follow any of the religion. We Indian had developed the religion as emotional rather than cultural or spiritual. India had been diversified since time immemorial assimilating all the religions and races in it. India had nourished kaleidoscope of culture. The name of the country itself states the diversity of country which assimilates all customs, the civilization which nurtured on the bank of Indus is known as India or Hindustan- the Persian word for people living on the bank of river Indus. Hindu doesn’t refer to any particular religion or belief, it’s a word used for people of the civilization near Indus river.
But the questions being raised by radicals: Did this behavior of India barred its development????
Peoples at governance both at center and states are being selected (not elected) based on their religion and caste. Even to get majority of vote bank political leaders don’t dare to flash a communal riot or fuel the spark which claims anonymously many lives. Furthermore the devastating situation is that the main plotter of the incident can’t be pointed out. Everyone claims other and all of them enjoy the impotency of investigating agencies. India is baned of such incidence since 1854, one such incident can be dated back to December 1992 followed by the ill famous Godhra Riot, wound of which is still fresh — which made the country feel ashamed globally, due to which innocent Indian families of both religion in India as well as in neighbor Muslim nations have to face the trauma. The humorous note about this incident is that different committee formed by different governing bodies gave different conclusions and none of them were found to be similar. This shows that even justice to innocence can’t be spared from political motive.
With heading towards 2014 (in-case we survive after Dec,2012 !!!) the discussion of next political party to form the next government, our next PM is growling all around. Some speculate based on performance of present government, some presumes based on communal dissension however there even exists big segment to whom this doesn’t matter at all (I feel pity on them). But when development is to be given prime concern we are fallen aback, India failed to produce such political party or even if it exists it is so malnourished to think of development of one and all, which have vision and mission to make India super power, which have way to approach commendable standard of living, which can change the definition of literacy and then can roar about its literacy percentage, which can make the economy of country prosperous.
But alas! we are still psychologically not competent enough to differentiate between communalism and development. We can be drived by some @#$%^&* people for their illicit motive. Our soul gets provoked to kill or harass someone just because he belongs to other caste, race or religion. We take pledge to the nation only for the sake of formality. The history is evident how emotions of people had been invoked to spark riots and the person who have soul motive in this flame remains far away from it, to have a safe place both physically and politically. How can these insanes be forbidden‼!
Indian politics is majorly played by only two political houses; one of them claims to be pro secular while other one always tries to become secular. But in reality none of them knows the first alphabet ‘S’ of secularism. Development of country had never been on their agenda, even during recent state elections it was observed that some major developmental decisions can be revoked so that the party gets elected to implement it, the government plays with economy and market just after election according to their wish.
For last few years India has faces that have vision of empowerment of the state he rules, who are trying hard to develop their state, improve the condition of living of its citizens, making their states to compete the economy. At the same time we also have faces who have bellied the natural resources of the states, who are making themselves lustrous on sake of others primary amenities for survival. One thing which can be said common to both type of faces is that both have to do social engineering to win the election. From this scenario can this be deciphered than even if one political party wants the development or have that vision and mission but still it have to be communally sound to get elected? Who is responsible for this situation, we the people or they the politicians?
Few scholars even argue liquor and money plays the role, but every candidate has that resource and they utilize them at best possible way. So the only way to get vote is based on social factors and even the monetary resources is also spend for those voters only. This makes us to return to the same factor to get vote- religious, casteism. Even it can’t be denied that to get favor from particular group of religion or caste their development and education had been jeopardized. They had been denied basic amenities and during every election they are lured of better facility and education which becomes a sky dream after election.
Whichever policy the government brings to develop the society it’s not possible until effective work are done in education sector, its need of the hour to remove illiteracy from the society, but who is responsible for it? Its the Government, but had you ever heard of any person hammering his own foot!‼
Now let’s move to find the solution. First question which strikes is Do Solution Exists??? As per my optimistic nature solution to every problem exists, what needed is right motive and effort to find the solution. The first needed thing is to spread awareness about importance of education and every effort should be made to educate the society not just make them literate as per definition in our law. Every citizen must be capable to understand good and bad in their society, they must know the rights and powers endowed to the citizens of India by our constitution, though this is responsibility of government but we know their situation – they are busy protecting their seat and their job has to be accomplished by us. We, in whatever capacity we can, must educate the society. Even we have to educate ourselves about communalism, casteism Vs development. We have to make over the practice of casteism endowed by our ancestors. The only solution is entrance of ethical people in politics, who have vision only of development and prosperity of nation and its citizens. One more important point is to maintain that ethical value throughout the political carrier. The person have to do ground work and have to connect himself with society on regular basis, he must know and try to solve the problem of society and must win their faith such that no liquid and liquor can change their faith during election.
The Team Kejriwal had decided to enter into active politics, though the decision is very correct as there is no solution other than politics to change the system and their movement was also good step to make the country to know their presence but as per my view this was not the right time to declare political motive. They should have waited for few more months till 2013 and must take the spark decision to enter the politics. I may not be aware of the real motive behind their decision taken so early but I know the existing political party will surely try to hamper this decision and will try hard and crook to harass the team and make their morale down. This team had given us face who can think beyond “-ISM”. It’s a matter of time whether their vision of development and corruption free country will get them in power or still “—ISM” will dominate over the voters decisions. One thing that we can do, rather I would say we must do, is to spread their vision to every nook of country.
Jai Hind Jai Bharat.
